Dr. Kathleen M. Favaloro is a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, grandmother, and a 5th Degree Black belt Master in Taekwondo.
She has over 40 years in the healing field and over 20 years in the martial arts. She has a passion for helping people to achieve their potential and enjoys teaching Taekwondo as much as she enjoys working with patients.
Dr. Favaloro, an enthusiastic physician and avid writer, remains committed to finishing her three-volume book series “Preventing Spinal Sabotage: Mayhem, Myths, and Management.” It is a somewhat whimsical and educational guide to taking care of your spine. “Solutions for Better Sleep: Positions to Relieve Pain and Stiffness,” is the first book in her series.
She has also written a children’s book series. These books emphasize Taekwondo philosophy as they follow a timid young boy’s journey into Taekwondo, where he learns confidence and ways to handle his challenges—even with bullies, in unique, non-violent ways.
The first two books in her Tommy Book Series, “Tommy Takes Taekwondo” and “Bullies, Friends, and Taekwondo,” will be available on Amazon and in bookstores. Check www.KMFbooks.com for details about these and future books.
In 2020, she combined her talents to help produce a one-hour educational video for seniors called Self-Defense and Safety Awareness for Seniors. It is available at 3seniors.com.
